Doing Business with ECS
Emergencies and Out-of-Hour Coverage

Should an emergency occur out-of-hours, tenants should use ECS's emergency call-out list to contact the "duty manager." ECS often has night and weekend crews that may be available to respond on short notice in the event of an emergency. In the event of a catastrophic event, such as an explosion or water main break, ECS will automatically dispatch a crew to assess the situation and coordinate with City departments.

Even though cable failures may constitute an emergency, tenants are not permitted to expose and break open ECS's manholes or conduits to perform emergency cable maintenance. ECS may, at its discretion, perform this work for a tenant.
