ECS owns approximately 11,000 manholes and 58 million feet of conduit. The conduits are made of iron pipe, vitrified clay, creosoted wood, plastic, fiberglass or concrete. Currently, ECS uses either 4-inch or 1.5-inch plastic ducts for nearly all new conduit construction. ECS serves premier telecommunications and cable service providers.

ECS employs over 325 employees and has two construction garage locations, one in the Bronx and one in Manhattan.
